it's snowmaggedon 2011! snowpocalypse!! literally, for the last 48 hours, atlanta has been shut down. eerie silence; occasional sirens or revving engines from cars whose drivers apparently didn't hear about the forecast. i was invited to go stay with my sister and kids, but i thought i might have to work, so i stayed home. well, the office closed. all morning i was home alone with minimal human interaction. by the afternoon i couldn't TAKE IT ANYMORE! so i went for a long walk (or really shuffle) around my neighborhood. there was good amount of people out and about, but no cars. felt weird.

first, i went on the roof to check things out




while i was there....


then hit the streets







my ultimate goal was to get to the interstate to see what it looked like at rush hour. not much...
